Welcome to the Woodland Community College English Department

The WCC English Department is composed of six faculty members, a writing center coordinator and two writing center assistants, and more than 10 adjunct faculty and staff members specializing in reading, English as a second language, composition, literature, and creative writing.

Our mission is to provide WCC students with the tools necessary to earn an Associate’s degree in English and receive a world-class education in the literary arts to prepare them for future writing success in the workplace, the community, and four-year colleges and universities worldwide.
