The Earth Explorers Student Club, Yuba College, act as a unified council to promote and support outdoor education and environmental awareness as a learning experience. We will influence changes on the Yuba College campus to get "greener" and serve as a role model for other students, faculty and staff. Objectives:
1) Learn about the Earth by exploring places of geologic or ecologic interest;
2) Educate our community about the Earth and our impact on our planet;
3) Provide opportunities for people to get hands-on experience with the Earth and Nature;
4) Provide a motivating influence towards making the campus "greener"
5) Service Projects to reduce Yuba's impact on the environment;
6) Raise awareness of environmental issues on campus. Officers for 2009-2010
